Your Questions. Our Answers
FAQ
From time to time, you may wonder about something electricity related or you may have questions about whether or not an electrical device or appliance around your home or office needs to be replaced. Check our Frequently Asked Questions first. We may have already answered your question.
HOW MUCH WILL THE ELECTRICAL WORK COST?
We have seen, in our 42+ years of experience, that our clients prefer accurate pricing for their electrical needs. Therefore, before we offer an estimate as to how much a particular electrical service will cost, we assess the whole situation and make sure the safest, most cost-effective solution is presented and quoted to the client. We have found this is the most fair and balanced approach to assessing electrical costs.
WHEN CAN AN ELECTRICIAN COME TO MY HOUSE?
Our goal is to make sure we take extremely good care of you and your electrical needs. To do that, we will set an appointment with you and make sure time is reserved to fulfill your service request. So, grab your phone and give us a call and we’ll find a time that works for you!
ARE YOUR ELECTRICIANS LICENSED?
Yes! All our electricians are licensed to work on your home or business.
DO YOU PROVIDE A WARRANTY?
Yes! At Robert Baxter Electric, we stand behind our work so we guarantee our work and we guarantee you will be satisfied with our service.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU TAKE?
We accept cash, checks, and most credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, & Discover. We also accept American Express!
WILL I BE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY WHILE YOU WORK ON MY HOUSE?
Yes and No. For safety reasons, for both the safety of you and the people in your house, as well as for our electricians, sometimes we have to turn off the power temporarily while we work on your electrical project. But don’t worry, if we need to turn off your electricity, we’ll make sure to discuss this with you before we begin our work.
CAN YOU PROVIDE REFERENCES?
Yes, we can. Feel free to browse our website and read the many reviews of our current and past customers as they give honest evaluations of working with us over these past 42+ years. If for some reason you need something specific regarding a reference, just ask and we will do everything we can to give you what you need.
WILL I NEED A PERMIT?
We will work with you to determine if a permit is necessary to complete your electrical project. If a permit is required, we will make sure you have the information you need to get the permit. All our electrical work is performed to pass electrical inspection regardless of a permit.
WHO WILL PERFORM THE ACTUAL ELECTRICAL WORK?
Either Robert Baxter himself or one of his outstanding electricians will perform the electrical work necessary to complete your project. We pride ourselves on our experience and we leverage Robert’s 4 decades of experience to make sure your project is completed with excellence.
WHAT WORK WILL YOU PERFORM?
Of course, this does depend on the particular electrical project being performed, but sometimes we need to cut through the drywall or into the flooring or through an exterior wall in order to access the electrical wires. We will discuss this with you before we have to cut into a part of your wall or floor to make sure everything is clear in advance.
WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICE FEES?
We have some of the absolute best pricing of anyone in the state of Oklahoma. After you let us know what work you need for your electrical project and we assess the whole situation, we will give you a cost estimate to complete the work. Don’t worry. You’ll know in advance how much it will cost.
WHAT ARE YOUR SPECIALTIES?
Because we’ve been doing this for nearly half a century, we’ve just about seen it all. In addition to all the normal electrical wiring installations and remodeling construction projects, we do specialize in all forms of interior and exterior electrical wiring and lighting, including backyard security lighting.
